Free Coin Counting ServiceAPL FCU has self-service coin counting machines at all three branch locations, available during regular lobby hours. Coin redemption is free for members, while non-members are charged a 10% fee. Notary PublicWe have several staff members who are notaries, and we offer this service free of charge to members. Medallion Signature GuaranteesSome securities transactions require that your signature be guaranteed as authentic by a financial institution where you have an account. We offer this service free of charge to members. APL FCU will guarantee signatures on any transaction up to $250,000. Stop by any APL FCU branch for assistance. Copy of Cleared CheckCopies of checks that have cleared within the past six months are available for free by logging into Online Banking and viewing your checking account history. For a copy of a check older than six months, you can log into Digital Banking and select the Cleared Check Copy form located in the Member Forms dropdown box. Members not enrolled in Digital Banking should contact the Credit Union for assistance. Stop PaymentStop Payment requests can be submitted by logging into Digital Banking and filling out the Stop Payment Request form located in the Member Forms dropdown box. You may also contact the credit union for assistance. Savings BondsThe U.S. Treasury discontinued over-the-counter sales of paper savings bonds at the end of 2011. Financial institutions like APL FCU are no longer allowed to accept orders for savings bonds. All savings bond orders will need to be placed online directly with the Treasury at Treasury Direct.gov. Members and non-members may redeem Series EE Bonds, Series I Bonds and Series E Bonds at the Credit Union. |
