Toys for Tots Donations - Items needed by Saturday, Dec., 14th Toys & Monetary Donations Accepted
We will be collecting monetary and physical toys this year at all branch locations. All donations will be delivered to the local Toys for Tots Campaign Foundation.
Toys will be be APL FCU will be collecting physical toys and monetary donations for the Toys for Tots Foundation this holiday season. Please bring toys to any branch location and make donations by Saturday, December 14th to ensure gifts can be distributed in time for the holidays.
Monetary Donations:
- You may also send a secure message through our digital banking platform to transfer money from your account to this cause. Please designate which account (savings or checking) and how much money you would like to donate.

Credit Union Annual Meeting
The Credit Union's Annual Meeting will be held at the Main Office on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The APL FCU Nominating Committee has nominated candidates to fill expiring term positions on the Board of Directors. At this time, additional nominations may only be made by petition and must be signed by one percent of the members of APL FCU. 2025 April Food Drive
Entire Month of April
APL FCU will be sponsoring a Spring Food Drive to benefit needy family in Howard County. We will be collecting canned and dry goods at all three branches during the month of April. Please double check expiration dates prior to donation.
Items especially in need: Canned Fruit, Vegetables, Beans, Soup and Tuna Peanut Butter & Jelly Cereal & Powdered Milk Dry Pasta and Spaghetti Sauce Instant Potatoes
We will be sending all collected items to the Howard County Food bank. Food donations during the holiday season help stock the location, but supplies often run low during the spring when donations decrease. This food drive will ensure we can support families in need during these months.
Community Shred Day and Food Collection- NOTE LOCATION
Next Event - Spring 2025 - Saturday, May 3, 2025.
APL FCU will hold a free community Shred Day from 9:00 am to 11:45 am. The event will take place in the lower Applied Physics Lab parking lot beside our Main Office Branch.
Members and non-members are invited to shred financial statements, receipts, invoices and other personal documents.
Please limit shredding materials to two boxes each weighing less than 100 pounds. Paperclips and staples are permitted, but three-ring binders and black binder clips cannot go through the shredder. No media/electronic shredding available at this event.
Please consider bringing a nonperishable food item to this event to support our efforts for the Elizabeth House in Laurel.
